maylands - angry man's house
another time on the balcony, i saw a lot of movement happening in the house next to matt's. i took out my binoculars and saw an angry man chasing his son around the living room, round and round the couch they went. at first i thought this was a homer simpson-type scenario, 'why you little-' which is funny in cartoons but not in real life.
i wasn't sure what i should do. at this point the man was just chasing, and if i called the police, i would probably get in trouble for 'peeping tom behaviour' even though i was just fulfilling the role of the neighbourhood watch.
then the man must have run out of breath cos he flumped down on the couch. then his son joined him. now they were laughing and checking their garmin watches. the mother came in with three glasses and a pitcher of powerade served with ice cubes and lemon.
all was well in the angry man's house.
